After nearly eight months without a post, what could possibly move me to start blogging again? How about eight people baptized yesterday! Praise God for His mighty work!
These changed lives are visible proof that the Holy Spirit is working in our youth and children's ministries. Two of those baptized were saved in EFBC's AWANA ministry. The other six were teenagers who prayed to receive Christ at our youth lock-in at the YMCA Friday night.
As much as I hated them when I was a youth minister, this just goes to show that sometimes good things come out of all night lock-ins.
Thank you, church, for supporting our youth and children's ministries. I believe this is only the beginning of some awesome days ahead.
