With 50.48% of the vote, Frank Page was elected president of the Southern Baptist Convention today in Greensboro, North Carolina. Page, pastor of First Baptist Church of Taylors, South Carolna received a majority of votes in the contest that included two other candidates: Ronnie Floyd and Jerry Sutton.
